street art Discovering street art in Brussels

Street art Brussels skate park Lutfisk / Photo with permission

This weekend I had the chance to go to Brussels for a day. It was a really good trip and Brussels was nice.

Brussels really have a lot of street art and murals to offer. However, what amazed me the most was the skate park: it’s filled with street art in all kinds of different shapes and sizes.

The skate park is just off Brussel-Kapellekerk station and is quite easy to spot. However, you can spend hours just looking for all the small and amazing pieces of street art and graffiti hidden between the more massive and obvious pieces. I can’t tell you which one is my favourite piece as there was so many, but I can tell you that I could have stayed there for much longer than I did, just to discover more. It felt like I couldn’t get enough: as soon as I thought I’d seen everything in one area I found some more.

There is a lot to see in Brussels but this skate park is a must for every street art lover.

Have you ever been there? If yes, which piece is your favourite?
