Okay, so I’ve been talking about Brighton a lot lately, and I promise I’ll stop after this post (at least for a while
) but I have to say Brighton was really cool.
We spent the day walking around, shopping, eating nice lunch, sitting on the beach and admiring all the cool street art. During our shopping we stumbled upon a very nice little shop called Posh Totty Designs. You’d quite easily miss the shop if you’re not paying attention to the little things. It’s located just off Bond Street in the North Laines and is filled with ‘hidden treasures’ according to the sign outside and I do agree: it was filled with nice bags, cool dresses and adorable jewellery that you’ll not find everyone else wearing, just what I like.
We also saw quite a few pieces of street art: one just close to the little nice shop which was some kind of community art project and it was quite cool. There was also an impressive piece located on Middle Street close to Duke Street. To be fair there’s so much street art that I can only advice you to go there by yourself and check it out (and also take a trip to Posh Totty Designs). Hope you’ll enjoy it as much as I did!

During a walk with a friend I happened to come across this amazing CD/DVD store called Fopp. The store is quite hard to find: you have to walk up Charing Cross Road until you reach the crossroads with Shaftesbury Avenue. The storefront doesn’t look like anything special so it’s a miracle that I managed to find it on my walk.
This three-floor store is really nice to shop in and provides a wide range of music, movies & books, mostly indie and rare stuff, at great prices. You can find one-off bargains ranging from 3 to 6 pounds. Actually the prices are so suspiciously low that I had to ask a shop assistant how they managed to work them out.
Even if you’re not a DVD collector, you can’t leave the store empty handed! It’s also a perfect destination if you’re looking for a gift for someone.
Since my first time in Fopp I often stop by to pick up new DVDs. I wish it was the same prices everywhere, I really think people would buy more CDs and DVDs. Anyway, pop in and you’ll hopefully see what I mean.

As you might know if you’re following Go Find It on Twitter I’m going to Brighton on Sunday. I’ve only been to Brighton once before and that was three years ago so I’m really looking forward to the trip.
I’ve been checking out the Go Find It map for cool places to visit and I did indeed find some. Along with The Freebutt and the street art that I already tweeted about I’m definitely visiting this cool vintage boutique. I guess I could spend half of the day in there, however I’m not going to do that since I want to do some exploration of my own…
If I find something cool I promise to add it to the map and blog about it and of course I’ll give you a review of the places I visited.
Enjoy your weekend guys!
